This bus is being stored offsite. It was tested to start upon arrival and that condition is reflected in the description. Please see the attached PDF regarding the last known operating condition of the bus.
Bus is being sold on a Minnesota MSO. This vehicle operated in public transportation service in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. Under Minnesota State law, public transit vehicles are not required per MN State Statute 473.448 to be licensed/titled by the Metropolitan Council. The Certification of Origin will be legally provided to the buyer of this retired Metropolitan Council asset upon sale of the vehicle and serves as the current title to this vehicle.
Transporter Pickup: All buses sold for Metropolitan Council will now have the MSO documents mailed directly to the buyer if a transport company is being used. If you are exporting the bus(es) or would prefer the transport company to pick up the MSO document on your behalf, buyer will be required to provide written permission.
Please note that these units are in storage and may require a boost to be started. The winning bidder should come prepared with necessary equipment to ensure quick removal from the facility.

Removal

The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation and exporting. Note: Shipping is NOT available.
Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.
At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, Authorization of Release, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).
Third-Party Shipping: For all buses and vehicles transported by a third-party carrier, the Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin (MCO) will be mailed directly to the buyer’s address unless the buyer specifies in the Authorization of Release document that the MCO is to be released to the transport company at the time of pickup.
Exporting Vehicles: If a bus or vehicle is being exported outside of the United States by a third-party transporter, the Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin (MCO) must be released directly to the transporter for export. Please note this on the Authorization of Release document.
