DESCRIPTION
You will be bidding on a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Work Truck Crew Cab Short Box 4WD 4-DR, 5.3L V8. Vehicle starts and moves forward and reverse. The interior appears to be in fair condition with possible loose wires, chases, panels and holes from removal of law equipment. AC, radio, door lock, windows, mirror appear to operate as they should. The exterior appears to be in fair condition with decal impressions and damage to front passenger side. This vehicle is located at the Surplus Property Office at 1441 Boston Avenue West Columbia, South Carolina. The overall condition of this vehicle is unknown to the Surplus Property Office, inspections are encouraged. Vehicle was used and turned in by The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources.

This item is located at the the Surplus Property Office, 1441 Boston Ave., West Columbia, SC 29170. The overall condition of this property is unknown to the Surplus Property Office. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the property prior to bidding. Vehicle may be inspected on Thursday February 19th from 9:00 AM until 3:30 PM. Test drives will not be permitted Bidder represents and warrants it shall indemnify and hold the State of South Carolina, the Department of Administration harmless from any and all liability, damage, expense, claims, liens or judgments, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, resulting from injury to person or damage to property resulting from or in any fashion arising out of Bidder’s inspection of the Property including but not limited to the negligent acts, errors or omissions of Bidder, its agents, employees, volunteers, contractors, or invitees. Bidder understands and agrees that the Property is being sold in “As-is” condition without any representation regarding the Property’s condition or otherwise.
Payment
BEFORE ANY PAYMENT CAN BE MADE, WE MUST CREATE A INVOICE. WITHIN 24 HOURS AFTER THE AUCTION HAS CLOSED, THE STATE OF SC WILL EMAIL THE HIGH BIDDER WITH DETAILED PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS. THIS EMAIL WILL BE IN ADDITION TO THE BUYER'S CERTIFICATE FROM GOVDEALS. If you choose to, you may make payment at the time of pickup if it is within your 5 days to make payment. Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Payment not received in 5 business days will result in default, and the asset will be relisted. The bidder will not be allowed to participate in future auctions. All payments must be via cash, certified bank check, or wire transfer unless you are an established customer with the State of South Carolina Surplus Property Office. A customer may be designated as an established customer once the customer, using the same name and address, has initially completed at least 3 qualified transactions within a one year period, where each transaction is at least fifteen calendar days apart from another transaction. A qualified transaction is a purchase in the amount of at least $700 where payment in full was timely received and all items were timely picked up by the customer. An established customer may make purchases with a credit card provided that no transaction (or group of transactions purchased within a fifteen calendar day period) exceeds $5000.00 and the name and address for the credit card match the name and address of the established customer. Our Office reserves the right, in this Office’s sole discretion, to decline to accept credit cards from any customer, at any time. The winning bidder is responsible for paying all fees associated with paying via wire transfer. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency, Bank Certified Check, or Credit Cards thru EGOV (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express-instructions will be sent in an email invoice from our office). Credit card purchases are limited to below $5,000.00 and Bidders residing in the United States, Canada and Mexico Only. If the winning bid plus applicable taxes, if any indicated, plus the administrative fee equals to $5,000.00 or more, a Wire Transfer or Bank Certified Check must be used (a certified check must be signed by bank official and say certified check on the document). Removal
*This item is for pickup only.* The current pickup days are Monday through Friday between 9 AM to 3:30 PM. If you choose to, you may make payment at the time of pickup if it is within your 5 days to make payment. All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Special Instructions
Waiver of all liability from the State of South Carolina for loading and property removal. The winning bidder will be liable for any damage or harm that may take place during the loading and removal of property awarded to that bidder. In addition, the winning bidder shall indemnify, defend and save harmless the State of South Carolina, The Department of Administration, the Owning Agency and their representatives from any liability arising out of the winning bidder’s acts or omissions including the failure to secure adequate insurance coverage. Consideration of Bid. State of South Carolina reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to withdraw from sale any of the items listed. Pursuant to Section 30-2-40(B) of the S.C.
