Tip to tail refurbishment was completed by Eagle Helicopters Ltd. on Sept 4, 2015, in preparation for purchase by the San Diego Sheriff's Office. This aircraft was not military surplus equipment.
This aircraft is currently mission ready for the San Diego Sheriff's Office and CALFIRE firefighting and search and rescue missions.
The belly tank and snorkel are included in the sale, along with a set of ground handling wheels. All aircraft and maintenance logbooks will come with purchase.
Along with all FAA & Bell Helicopter inspection schedules, CALFIRE also inspects any aircraft to be used for fire fighting. The last inspection for "carding" was in May 2025.
The last annual and 100-hour inspection occurred in June 2025.
