Used/See Description
Westinghouse Vertical Pump Motor, Serial # 297A602G13. The overall design indicates the unit was likely manufactured and purchased in the early to mid-1980s, most likely between 1982 –1985. The equipment plate with all the specifications is attached in the pictures section. The condition of this motor is unknown; inspection or testing is recommended. The motor housing and nameplates appear intact. There is no obvious external damage visible in the photos. Surface wear, paint fading, and minor corrosion are present, but typical for a motor this age.
The estimated dimensions (based on motor design and pallet reference): Height: ~65–70 inches; Diameter (widest point)~28–30 inches; Footprint ~30" x 30". This is consistent with vertical hollow shaft motors in the 4451UP frame. The estimated weight is 1,800 – 2,200 lbs (approx. 0.9 – 1.1 tons). This is typical for 150 HP vertical pump motors with this enclosure type and frame size.
Some assistance will be provided but the buyer is responsible for providing their own equipment for hauling this Pump Motor. Due to the unit’s weight and awkward shape, loading assistance or rigging equipment is strongly recommended. The item is SOLD AS IS.
