The below pertains to every lot sold even if you have purchased prior lots.
You must provide proof of beer/wine and liquor license by emailing Breonna.Truesdale@admin.sc.gov
Once the license is received Surplus Property will have to submit to SLED/DOR for approval of the sale.
Payment cannot be processed until ALL steps above have been completed. NO EXCEPTIONS!
You will be bidding on a Confiscated Liquor Lot (4 pallets) (Approximately 2,556 Bottles)
These items have not been stored in a climate controlled environment. Please read paragraph below. Attached in the media section is a list of items and quantities and sizes in the lot. This lot is restricted to licensed manufacturers, wholesalers, or retail dealers in South Carolina. This does not include bars and restaurants. The following pertains to every lot sold even if you have purchased prior lots. You must provide proof of beer/wine and liquor license before purchasing by emailing Breonna.Truesdale@admin.sc.gov. Per SC Law 61-6-4330: "No alcoholic liquors sold under the provisions of this article may be delivered within five days after the sale, during which time the department in its discretion may reject any bid and order the liquors resold until a satisfactory bid is made. However, if confiscated liquors are offered for sale after advertisement, as provided in this article, on two different dates and no bids are made, the liquors must be destroyed by the proper officers." This property was confiscated by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and was in storage at their facility before being delivered to our location. These items were not stored in a climate controlled area and some of the items have been in storage for over a year but none of the bottles appear to have been opened. There is a detailed list of approximate items in this lot attached as a pdf file. There is no sales tax on these items. This property is located at the Surplus Property Office in West Columbia, South Carolina. The overall condition of this property is unknown to the Surplus Property Office.
