For Auction we have a Mystaire MY-DB36 CleanPrep Station. The Mystaire CleanPrep Station MY-DB36 is a circulation-free dead air box designed to protect samples during sensitive procedures, like PCR amplification. It minimizes airborne contamination by providing a contained, static environment rather than using airflow.
Features and Capabilities
UV sterilization: The workstation features a built-in shortwave UV lamp with an adjustable timer (0–15 minutes). The UV light bathes the chamber and its contents, providing effective decontamination between amplifications.
Contamination-resistant construction: It is built from thermally-fused, seamless polypropylene, a material known for its chemical resistance. The non-porous surface is easy to clean and decontaminate using various disinfectant solutions.
Safety sash: Access to the workspace is through a folding, clear polycarbonate sash with an overlap design. A safety position switch automatically disables the UV light when the sash is raised, protecting the user from harmful UV exposure.
Integrated pipette holder: A UV shelf with integrated slots for four pipettors is included inside the chamber for convenient organization.
Interior lighting: A high-intensity fluorescent lamp illuminates the workspace for clear visibility.
Portability: The lightweight design and lack of a blower or venting system make the unit easy to place and move on a lab bench.

The MY-DB36 is suitable for a variety of contamination-sensitive applications, including:

The Unit door opens and closes properly. The UV Light turns on. The brighter exam light turns on when the Unit door has been opened. We were told that this Unit was Never Used. The Unit timer works properly. The Unit comes with a power cord. Item may show cosmetic wear such as scratches and scuffs. Please reference included photos for more details. The unit is being sold

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. After paying for your auction you can make your make your appointment by going to our bidder porthole and registering with our system. You will then have access to our calendar where you can make your appointment, Hours of pickup are Monday-Friday 8am to 3pm. (close for lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm) We are closed on all University Holidays.
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,
DO NOT LIST UI SURPLUS AS THE SHIPPER.
You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED
