Up for auction we have 4 High End Systems 575 Series Stage Spot Lighting Units. The High End Systems Studio Spot 575 is a legacy moving spot light fixture that was widely used in professional lighting design for theatrical, studio, and entertainment applications. The 575 series is known for its quiet, efficient operation and ability to project crisp, hard-edged images.
Key Features and Capabilities
Intense output: The fixture used a 575-watt metal halide lamp (typically an MSR 575/2) and a patented reflector system for high light efficiency.
Quiet operation: Its fanless convection cooling made it ideal for noise-sensitive environments like television and film studios.
Gobo projection: It featured two rotating and indexable gobo wheels, each with five user-selectable gobos, allowing for a wide variety of pattern and logo projections. It was compatible with High End Systems' LithoPatterns high-resolution glass gobos for photo-quality imaging.
Color mixing: Models with CMY (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow) mixing replaced the fixed color wheels with variable subtractive color mixing for a broad spectrum of colors. Other models featured fixed color wheels.
Optical effects: The fixture included a number of features for shaping the beam
DMX control: It was fully controllable via DMX-512 protocol, with models using up to 24 channels for precise control over parameters like pan, tilt, and gobo indexing.
Onboard programming: The fixtures featured an onboard menu system for programming and diagnostics.
These Lighting Units have NOT been powered on. We have no way of testing the Lighting Units. 3 of the Units have lenses. Please reference included photos and model number for more details. The Units are being sold AS IS. Plastic crate is property of the University of Iowa, and is not included in the sale.
