Inspection

  • This asset is being sold as-is, where-is. It is highly recommended that you preview prior to bidding on this lot.
  • Please use the Q&A tool to request an inspection date. Please provide name and telephone number and someone will be in contact with you to schedule an appointment. Please request appointments at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Long pants, long sleeve shirt, safety glasses, hard hat, safety vest and steel toed boots are required. Additional safety requirements may be required. If required, you will be advised at the time of your inspection request. Seller reserves the right to stop or deny entry if onsite safety requirements cannot be met or maintained.

Payment

  • When the lot is awarded, the winning bidder will receive a buyer certificate - payment instructions are provided within the buyer certificate.
  • Further information regarding payment can be found in section 5 of the buyer's terms and conditions.
  • Full Payment is due no later than three (3) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction. Buyer's not making payment within three (3) business days may be defaulted for non-payment and their account will be suspended
  • TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable, it is the responsibility of the bidder to provide Tax Exempt documents. Buyer must send Tax Exempt documents to buyerhelp@liquidityservices.com within 48 hours of the auction close and before payment is made.

Removal

  • Seller will assist Buyer by the Seller loading asset(s) onto Buyer conveyance
  • Buyer is responsible for packaging of material, securing load to transport, and transportation costs
  • Once full payment and seller required documents have been satisfied, Buyer will receive a Load Out Advice/Authorization for Release (LOA) document. Load out may not commence until full payment and seller required documents have been satisfied
  • Buyer or Buyer's removal agent must have LOA on-hand at the time of removal
  • Removal is by appointment, only. At a minimum, Buyer must Schedule removal appointment with Yard Contact listed on LOA at least 48 hours in advance of removal
  • Buyer must remove asset(s) within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction. If there is a mutual agreement between the Buyer and the Yard Contact extending beyond the ten (10) business days, it is the responsibility of the Buyer to properly document this agreement in writing.Items remaining onsite beyond ten (10) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction will be considered abandoned in place
  • Buyer or Buyer's removal agent must satisfy Seller's onsite safety protocol. At a minimum, the Buyer or Buyer's removal agent(s) must wear steel toe boots, long pants, long sleeve, a hard hat, high visibility vest, and safety glasses. The Yard Contact can provide additional instructions when the Buyer schedules the appointment
  • If the Buyer or Buyer's removal agent does not adhere to these requirements, the Seller reserves the right to cease the removal at any stage.

Notice: Delivery Driver Environmental, Safety and Health Rules. The following driver environmental, safety and health rules are MANDATORY. Non-compliance will result in immediate removal.

-Follow all federal, state and local regulations regarding cargo securement. If the load is unsafe, STOP. Do not proceed without making corrections. Loads that arrive in an unsafe condition will be refused

-No passengers or animals are allowed entry to the jobsite

-Theft, violence, and possession of contraband are prohibited on site. Contraband includes, but is not limited to drugs, alcohol, and weapons

-Drivers must use directed receiving gate for all pick ups unless directed otherwise

-Upon entering the jobsite, full PPE requirements take effect and must be worn while out of the cab:

  • Class 2 high-visibility vest
  • Long Sleeve shirt & pants
  • Eye protection, Z87.1 stamped
  • Hardhat, Z89.1 approved
  • Safety footwear, Z41 approved. Steel toe, min ankle height
  • 100% Glove policy

-Delivery vehicles must be escorted to and from their loading/ unloading point

-Drivers must wait for instructions before removing any tarps, straps, chains or other securing devices

-No climbing on equipment or loads

-Drivers shall not use any type of mobile communication device (MCD) when driving. These prohibitions apply to both handheld and hands-free use of any MCD while driving

-Operation of other portable electronic devices that cause driver distraction are prohibited while driving

-Drivers must remain in a designated safe area while cargo unloading/loading is occurring. Do not stand in or around the truck during this process

-Report to escort any unsafe condition, activity, incident, or property damage observed, any injury to health effects experienced or environmental issue.
