Can you describe the building layout, so people understand if there are long hallways, narrow doorways, loading docks, elevators….etc. so there is no forklift available? 01/21/2026 04:48:18 AM
The building is a large open warehouse type building. The equipment is on the 1st floor, you will need to go thru 2 sets of oversized doors to get to the loading dock. The dock itself is approximately 6' deep and is approximately 33" above he road surface. There is no elevator, no hallways to travel down just 1 to pass thru. The doors are directly in line with each other. There is no forklift available for use. 01/21/2026 08:18:40 AM
Follow up question. Is the 33” tall loading dock the only way to load, or is there also a wide ramp, wide enough for a forklift to drive down to street level? And what is the clearance height of the doors leading out to the loading area? Thank you 01/22/2026 15:13:35 PM
The 33" loading dock is the main load out. There is a garage door at the opposite end of the building that has a dock that is standard height for a box truck or tractor trailer, no ramp. approximately 83" door opening height. 01/22/2026 21:10:26 PM

Removal

The Seller has sole discretion to determine whether any refunds will be issued, and no refunds shall be owed unless approved by the Seller.
If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) will be declared abandoned, and the buyer will receive no financial compensation.
You MUST bring an appropriate vehicle for pickup, along with the ***payment confirmation/bill of sale***. The ENTIRE lot must be picked up at one time, no partial pickups.
Removal** IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY** time is from 8:00 a.m. through 2:00 p.m. sharp. Excluding legal holidays.
If shipment is being picked up by a third party, then the bill of lading must be emailed to Scott at smutzabaugh@pa.gov prior to pick up, otherwise carrier will be turned away. To contact 717-514-2437.
All items must be removed within 10 calendar days from the time and date of auction close.
Items not picked up by the deadline will be charged $50.00 a day until items are picked up.
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is unable to accept payment by PayPal.
Purchases will be released only upon a hard copy of the bill of Sale presented to State Surplus and verification of receipt of payment as specified.
Successful bidders are responsible for all loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them.
No assistance will be provided.
