For Auction is an Olympus U-DO Dual Observation Bridge. The Olympus U-DO is a specialized dual-observation teaching bridge designed for the Olympus BX series of microscopes, used primarily for collaborative viewing and medical instruction. It allows two people to view the same specimen simultaneously, with the secondary observer typically positioned in a front-to-back configuration.
Features and Capabilities
Dual Observation: Enables two-person viewing, making it ideal for pathology, documentation, and teaching.
Illuminated Pointer: Features a built-in joystick-controlled pointer (often an LED arrow) that can be superimposed on the image field for both observers.
Compatibility: Designed specifically for Olympus BX models, including the BX40, BX41, and BX2 series.
Pointer Control: The U-DO3 variant includes a rheostat to control illumination intensity, allowing the arrow to change from green to red based on brightness settings.
The Dual Observation Bridge has been powered on. The Observation Bridge has not been tested. The Observation Bridge appears to be in good condition. We do not know the model of the Observation Head. The Observation Bridge may show signs of cosmetic wear such as scuffs and sticker residue. Please reference the included photos and Olympus model number for more information. The Olympus U-DO Dual Observation Bridge is being sold AS IS.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. After paying for your auction you can make your make your appointment by going to our bidder porthole and registering with our system. You will then have access to our calendar where you can make your appointment, Hours of pickup are Monday-Friday 8am to 3pm. (close for lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm) We are closed on all University Holidays.
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,
DO NOT LIST UI SURPLUS AS THE SHIPPER.
You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED
