For Auction is a Vermont Castings Radiance model 2240 Gas Stove.
Technical Specifications
The Radiance 2240 is categorized as a vented decorative appliance and is known for its ability to retain heat due to its dense cast iron build.
Heating Capacity: It delivers up to 38,000 BTUs with Natural Gas and 36,000 BTUs with Propane.
Efficiency: a high steady-state efficiency rating of 82%.
Weight: The firebox and cast iron body weigh approximately 350 lbs.
Venting: It utilizes a 4"/6" direct vent system (Top or Rear configuration).
Ignition: Standard models use a standing pilot (Millivolt) ignition which allows for operation during power outages.
The Stove was working when it was taken by the Surplus Department. We have not tested the stove. The Stove has an electric ignition switch. The Stove comes with everything you see in the photos and nothing more. The Stove may show signs of cosmetic wear such as scuffs and scratches. Please reference the included photos for more details. The Radiance Gas Stove is being sold AS IS.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. After paying for your auction you can make your make your appointment by going to our bidder porthole and registering with our system. You will then have access to our calendar where you can make your appointment, Hours of pickup are Monday-Friday 8am to 3pm. (close for lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm) We are closed on all University Holidays.
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,
DO NOT LIST UI SURPLUS AS THE SHIPPER.
You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED
