For Auction is a Gaymar Medi-Therm III. The Gaymar Medi-Therm III (typically model MTA7900 or MTA6900) is a medical hyper/hypothermia system used to regulate patient body temperature. It works by circulating temperature-controlled distilled water through noninvasive blankets or body wraps.
Features and Capabilities
Dual Reservoirs: Features separate heating and cooling reservoirs for rapid thermal response.
Operating Modes:
Automatic: Uses a microprocessor and patient probe to precisely maintain a set body temperature with minimal intervention.
Manual: Allows the operator to set a specific water temperature for the blanket.
Monitor Only: Tracks patient temperature through the probe without active therapy.
Patient Range: Suitable for everyone from neonates to older adults.
Safety Systems: Includes dual over-temperature monitoring and audible/visual alerts for low water flow or probe issues.

Temperature Range: Blanket water ranges from 39 to 107 Degrees Farenheit
Flow Rate: Minimum of 16–17 gallons per hour when connected to a blanket.

The Gaymar Medi-Therm III has been powered on. The System has not been tested further. The Medi-Therm wheels work properly and the System rolls smoothly. The System may show signs of cosmetic wear such as scuffs and sticker labels. The System comes with everything that is documented within the included photos and nothing more. The System comes with the original power cord. Please reference the included photos and System model number for more information. The Gaymar Medi-Therm III is being sold AS IS.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. After paying for your auction you can make your make your appointment by going to our bidder porthole and registering with our system. You will then have access to our calendar where you can make your appointment, Hours of pickup are Monday-Friday 8am to 3pm. (close for lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm) We are closed on all University Holidays.
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,
DO NOT LIST UI SURPLUS AS THE SHIPPER.
You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED
