For Auction are 5 Nanosonics Trophon EPR Disinfection Systems. The Nanosonics Trophon EPR Disinfection System is an automated high-level disinfection (HLD) system designed specifically for ultrasound probes. It uses a sonicated hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) mist to disinfect both the probe shaft and handle in a closed, seven-minute cycle.
Core Functionality and Technology
The Trophon EPR (Extracavitary/Endocavitary Probe Reprocessor) is used in clinical settings to prevent cross-infection between patients.
Vaporized Mist Technology: An ultrasonic nebulizer vibrates to create a fine hydrogen peroxide mist that penetrates crevices and covers the entire probe surface, including the handle.
Safety and Environment: It is a closed system that breaks down residual H₂O₂ into environmentally safe water and oxygen after each cycle, requiring no special ventilation.
Broad Efficacy: The process is bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal, and sporicidal, meeting FDA and CE mark requirements for high-level disinfection.
Compatibility: It is validated for use with over 1,000 ultrasound probes from major manufacturers.
The Systems has been powered on, excluding 1 Unit. The Systems have not been tested further. The Systems comes with everything that is documented within the included photos and nothing more. The Systems may show signs of cosmetic wear such as scuffs and sticker labels. Please reference the included photos for more details. The Trophon Systems are being sold AS IS.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. After paying for your auction you can make your make your appointment by going to our bidder porthole and registering with our system. You will then have access to our calendar where you can make your appointment, Hours of pickup are Monday-Friday 8am to 3pm. (close for lunch from 12pm to 12:30pm) We are closed on all University Holidays.
Items will not be released if buyer fails to make an appointment.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Pallets or containers that items are on or in are not included. No Assistance will be provided. Any item left after the 10 day limit will be relisted, buyers will be subject to GovDeals policies.
Purchaser is solely responsible for the loading and transportation.
The University disclaims all liability for injury or property damage associated with this purchase.
The University of Iowa Surplus Department does not provide or prepare items for shipping (except for certain clothing items) however there are local companies that will prepare and ship items from our location.
If items are shipped at your request by paying for the shipping you are agreeing that assets are sold as is, where is and without warranty. Once the asset is removed from the seller's premises there is no refund of monies previously paid.
If you are contracting with a freight company,
DO NOT LIST UI SURPLUS AS THE SHIPPER.
You must list yourself (the buyer) as the shipper (we would be considered the destination).
Any bill of ladings with The University of Iowa or our staff members as the shipper will be denied. ALL T-FORCE SHIPMENTS WILL HAVE TO BE BE SCHDULED THROUGH THE LOCAL UPS STORE OR WILL BE DENIED
