SALES TAX
When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.If you are seeking sales tax exemption, you must complete Liquidity Services’ tax exemption form(s). We recommend doing this prior to the auction’s closure or before making payment. To do so, please visit Liquidity Services' Tax Exemption Submission Tool.
Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.
Shipping is not available. The City of Bentonville will NOT be responsible for packing or preparing any shipments. A transportation service that can schedule a pick-up appointment time (specific time, NOT a time window or range) will be reviewed. The City will not reach out to transportation services to schedule appointments on behalf of the Buyer. If anyone other than the Buyer listed on GovDeals will be picking up on behalf of Buyer, the Buyer must provide a signed Bill of Sale and written authorization of the person permitted to pick up on their behalf (full name).
