The generator for auction does not run and has not ran for an extended period of time. We do not know if the generator portion works due to not being able to start the machine. These were used by emergency services. Please come prepared to load the unit.

Inspection

Payment

PAYMENT

If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.

Note:

1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.

2. Any invoice $5,000 or above requires payment via wire transfer.

SALES TAX

When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.

Removal

All assets must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and

perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will Seller assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. See special instructions on each asset page for removal details. Dawson County Fleet department does NOT load purchases under any circumstances for liability reasons. We can/do not aid loading, strapping, or transporting of sold assets. This is totally the responsibility of the buyer. Not reading the removal instructions and coming to pick up an asset not prepared does NOT constitute an emergency on the sellers part, please come prepared. When an add states a vehicle needs a battery or possibly a jump start please bring cables and/or a jump box. Seller will not assist in starting vehicles when it is stated the battery starting system may need attention. A daily storage fee of $10.00

may be charged for any item not removed within the ten (10) business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate. Buyers may pick up items Monday thru Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Pickup will not be allowed on weekends or scheduled holidays, no exceptions. Pick up after 4:00 pm will not be allowed either. Please take into consideration the travel time needed to arrive at our facility during the above stated days and times. After this, they will direct you to the Fleet Director, Shannon Harben for pick up. Assets that are not titled, for example, farm tractor, please come directly to Dawson County Fleet Services. The phone number for Shannon Harben is (706) 265-3052 or email, sharben@dawsoncounty.org. Please contact Shannon Harben with a minimum of 4 hours notice before arriving to acquire purchased assets. Asset pick up may be scheduled from Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Please note that the Fleet Maintenance department does not load YOUR purchased items with. Please make all necessary preparations to start, load, strap down, and haul the items you have purchased.
