Payment

PAYMENT

If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.

SALES TAX

When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.

Removal

Property will be removed by appointment only and appointment must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Appointment must be agreeable to both awarded bidder and WVU. Property must be removed within 10 business days from the date of payment. Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary including removing from location and transporting the property. No Assistance will be provided. No equipment or tools will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for items not removed within the aforementioned days.

Should winning bidder default by failing to adhere to terms and conditions the bidder's GovDeals account will be locked. Property offered for sale "as is, where is". West Virginia University makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the condition or fitness for any purpose of property offered for sale. All sales are final upon removal of property. Description Warranty. Seller warrants to Buyer that property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for incorrect description must be made prior to removal of property. If Seller confirms that property does not conform to description Seller will keep property and refund any money paid. Liability of Seller shall not exceed actual purchase price of property.
