Purchased in 2010, this CNC water jet cutting system features a 60" x 60" water tank working area and operates at 60,000 PSI. It is designed to precisely cut a wide variety of materials including steel, aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, stone, ceramics, and titanium.
The system uses a high-pressure stream of water combined with 80-grit abrasive media (sand) to pierce and cut through materials with exceptional accuracy.
Included components:
Water jet cutting table (approx. 10’ x 10’ footprint)
Sand hopper
A/C chiller
Pressure intensifier (approx. 900 kg)
The main cutting unit is estimated to weigh between 1,200–1,500 kg. A crane or suitable lifting equipment will be required to remove the items from the building and load them onto transport.

All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.
At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, Authorization of Release, etc.).
*If you live out-of-state and need to schedule a third-party carrier to pick-up your auction property, you must email the surplus-q@asu.edu a copy of the Bill of Lading (BOL) from the third-party carrier, and a signed Authorization of Release form (Authorization of Release), a minimum of 24 hours in advance.
