This listing is for a 1998 BAE Systems M1079 LMTV 4x4 Van Truck (Military Surplus). The vehicle has been stored outdoors for several years and is being sold as is.
The M1079 is a 2½-ton 4x4 tactical truck powered by a Caterpillar 3116 diesel engine with an automatic transmission. It features a box-style van body designed for mobile shop or cargo use, fold-out rear steps, and blackout lighting controls.
This vehicle was operational when last used, but current running condition is unknown. The truck has 425 miles showing on the odometer (believed to be original per LESO records). The exterior shows surface rust, faded paint, and weathering consistent with long-term outdoor storage. Tires hold air but are weathered and may need replacement. The interior is complete but worn.
The unit will require towing or hauling from its current location.

Removal
ONCE THE ITEM HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE SELLER’S LOCATION; ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of the close of the auction. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No assistance will be provided.
A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
