This vehicle was utilized by the Sheriff's Dept. as a marked patrol unit until recently when it sustained severe undercarriage damage. This vehicle has been deemed a total loss by the insurance company due to the amount of frame and rear suspension damage it has. The vehicles low ground clearance in the rear contributed to the damage when the Tahoe was traveling at a high rate of speed down a rough mountain road and bottomed out going over large dips and impacted a rock. The damage is all in the rear area, the body and exterior of the vehicle is ok. Everything works and is operable on this vehicle, and it can be driven onto a trailer. Not advisable to drive this on public roads. The interior does not have a third row seat and all patrol equipment has been removed but there is evidence of it having been there in the form of missing trim, marks on the interior panels, as well as holes where items were mounted. This is an SSV (Special Service Vehicle) that comes from the factory with provisions for law enforcement applications, hence the cloth seats, rubber floor covering, certified speedometer, and different dome light among other things. The tires all match and have around 75% tread remaining. Exterior striping and decals have been removed but impressions in the paint do remain.
This Tahoe was serviced every 5,000 miles and all repairs have been completed as needed. Specific questions can be answered but a detailed repair history printout is not available due to the type of data system used.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only.
Pick-up hours are as follows:
Tuesday -Thursday 8AM-4PM
We need a 24-hour notice so we can get your purchase ready. Please call just before arriving so we can give you directions to your purchase. In order to keep our employees safe during COVID-19 we will not meet with you in person. That being said I will need you to sign the bill of sale (see attachment). Then send the bill of sale and a copy of your Driver’s license to me via E-mail. If you are going to have it picked up for you I will need the name of the transport company and the drivers name and a copy of their driver’s license also. If all of this paper work is not here before pick up, we WILL NOT release the purchase. Once again we do not assist with loading or helping in loading. We do have a 32” high loading dock.
All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. Assistance will not be provided except in very special circumstances. Should the Buyer fail to arrange for the loading and securing of items, the Buyer agrees to hold Montrose County harmless for any and all damages to the purchased items, transport vehicle, and other property and for any and all injuries to County personnel and third parties resulting from the transport and loading/securing of items. The County will not be responsible for any damages or injuries resulting from the transport, loading, and securing of items.
A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.
