Up for auction by the City of Elyria is a 2012 Ford Fusion with 79268 miles. The vehicle was purchased new by the City of Elyria and was assigned to the Elyria Police Detective Bureau for the entirety of it service life. The vehicle was removed from service in December of 2025 due to vehicle/equipment rotation. There is a hole drilled into the center of the truck lid, that was for a police radio antenna. There this other minor wear to the body and interior, the vehicle starts and runs as designed. It is strongly encouraged that you personally inspect this vehicle prior to bidding. Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate. ALL VEHICLES SOLD BY POLICE DEPARTMENT WITH A SALVAGED TITLE WILL NEED TO BE TOWED OUT FOR REMOVAL
