Up for auction by the City of Elyria is a 4WD 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe SPORT UTILITY 4-DR, 5.3L V8 OHV 16V FFV with 108877 miles and 16273 engine hours. The City of Elyria Police Department purchased the vehicle in March 2011. The vehicle was utilized by the Police Department for the entirety of its service life, the vehicle was taken out of service in October 2025 due to fleet rotation. The vehicle has wear that is consistent with police vehicle service in northern Ohio. Please see the attached photographs and video for further description. It is strongly encouraged that you personally inspect the vehicle prior to bidding. Inspections are by appointment only Monday-Friday 8am-2pm. Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate. ALL VEHICLES SOLD BY POLICE DEPARTMENT WITH A SALVAGED TITLE WILL NEED TO BE TOWED OUT FOR REMOVAL
