Up for auction by the City of Elyria is a used 2011 Mack LEU Sideloading Garbage Truck with 93382 miles. The truck is powered by a Mack MP7, 325hp Engine with an Allison Transmission. The vehicle ID# IBM 1209 , the truck was purchased new by the City of Elyria November of 2011 and utilized by the City of Elyria Sanitation Department for its entire service life. Truck was removed from service in 2025. The truck runs and is drivable, a City of Elyria auto technician list the following items in need of repair: Check engine light is on, the engine runs rough, hard to start, injector issues, EGR valve leaking exhaust, hydraulic tank leaks. Please see attached photographs and video for further description. It is strongly encouraged that you personally inspect this truck prior to bidding. Inspections are by appointment only Monday - Friday between 8am-2pm. Removal
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate. ALL VEHICLES SOLD BY POLICE DEPARTMENT WITH A SALVAGED TITLE WILL NEED TO BE TOWED OUT FOR REMOVAL
