Purchaser is responsible for removal and loading of the assets. Please be sure to have the appropriate tools/equipment. Assets may be removed by appointment only between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (excluding holidays and weekends). No loading dock or personnel available to assist with removal and loading of the assets.

Removal
Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction.
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. Bidders will be locked unless a prior arrangement has been made for any item not removed within the ten (10) business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.

Per Hanover County purchasing procedures, “Hanover County & Hanover County School Board employees and their immediate families are not eligible to purchase surplus personal property from the County or Schools, regardless of the method of sale.” Section 2.2-3101 of the Code of Virginia defines immediate family as “(i) a spouse and (ii) any other person who resides in the same household as the officer or employee and who is a dependent of the officer or employee.
