Removal

The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation and exporting. Note: Shipping is NOT available.
Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.
At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, Authorization of Release, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).
Special Instructions
Seller makes no guarranty or warranty whatsoever other than that Seller warrants it has adequate power to convey property as described and that noted property is free from any liens or encumbrances.
No assistance or equipment is available onsite. It is the responsibility of the buyer to provide all necessary equipment, tools, and labor needed for disassembly, loading, transportation, and removal. Buyer is responsible for their own safety management and maintenance and will adhere to all OSHA safety and occupational health requirements while working on the installation and jobsite. Safety PPE including but not limited to, traffic cones, high visibility vests, hardhats, protective eye wear, ear protection construction signage & caution tape will be the buyer’s responsibility. Buyer is responsible for furnishing and utilizing appropriate tools, material handling equipment, and transportation vehicle(s) during the disassembly and removal of this property that include but are not limited to, generators, impact wrenches, grinders, boom trucks with safety harness, forklifts, cranes, scissor lifts, and flatbed semi-truck or equivalent.
Buyer must comply with all OSHA, CT DEEP, and any other State of Connecticut regulatory requirements deemed necessary for this project. Buyer agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Wesleyan University, its officers, agents and representatives from any, and all claim, loss, damage or liability of any type, relating in whole or in part to any property purchased and resulting on or after the date hereof.
Buyer must remove noted property, along with any debris or unwanted contents associated with the removal of the property. Removal of property is by appointment only and will be completed within 10 days from bid closing. Buyer shall repair and restore to its original condition any of Seller’s equipment, materials, items, premises, etc. damaged in any way by buyer’s operations. Buyer shall be entirely responsible for any loss or damage to its own equipment, materials, items, premises, etc.
An activity waiver must be signed by Buyer, prior to beginning work.
Seller reserves right to determine if final bid meets minimum selling price. A final Bill of Sale will be provided by Seller to Buyer upon completion of the removal of noted property, debris removal, and remedy of any damages caused by buyer.
