Description

1999 International 4700 series box truck W/ ("INOP Loading Gate") Truck starts, builds air and drives forward and reverse. DT444e engine (very similar to a 7.3L Powerstroke) Automatic transmission, air brakes. No CDL required due to max GVWR; buyer is responsible for confirming this. Lights were all operational when it was taken out of service 6+ months ago. Lift/loading gate is currently NOT operational. Reason is unknown. Buyer 100% is responsible for removal of vehicle. Exterior dimensions of box are pictured. Tires seem to hold air. Truck has been sitting for a few months. Mold is present in the interior. Truck has typical signs of wear and use from a vehicle of this age.

Q & A

  • Are there any mechanical issues with this truck (engine, transmission, drivetrain, etc)? Was this fleet maintained and if so are there service records? Is this being retired due to a scheduled fleet replacement or due to repair related costs? Is there a sticker on the driver's door jamb indicating GVWR and if so can you please confirm the GVWR?     At the time of retirement the only known issue was the lift gate was not operational. I don't currently have a picture of the GVWR. I apologize; I thought the pictures listed covered that. I do know that the truck was driven locally within the district by drivers which were non-CDL holders. This was fleet maintained by our district however records are not easily accessible due to a records system software change since this truck has been put out to pasture. The truck had been replaced therefore we no longer have a need for it. Once the lift became inop it was no longer viable to dedicate efforts to repairs due to the replacement truck already in use. I went back and looked in the door jam for the GVWR rating and could not find that information. I do not have the title on hand currently. Those are released to me after the vehicle auctions closed and when scheduling pick up with the buyer. With the truck being driven by non-CDL operators my assumption is the GVWR is less than 26k 06/04/2026 12:00:42 PM

    I am not aware of the gear ratio's specifically. Nor can I directly confirm that it will do freeway speeds. Having driven the truck though I would assume it is capable of at least 55mph and likely more. 06/04/2026 12:00:50 PM

    Unfortunately I was having issues with uploading a video. The truck starts right up and has the familiar 7.3L Powerstoke sound. Doesn't seem to smoke at idle, at least not with our recent ambient air temps. Feel free to Email tromplerj599@edmonds.wednet.edu if you'd like to see the truck in person. Removal

The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation and exporting. Note: Shipping is NOT available.

Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted time frame, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.

The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick up and removal of purchased items. Disassembly, repair, break down or other work on purchased items are not permitted on the pick up premises. Buyers will need to provide proper transport for purchased items. Assistance in loading purchased items is not available.

All scheduled pick up appointments need to be limited to 30 minutes or less.

At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, Authorization of Release, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).
