2009 GMC K5500 4X4 Diesel 6.6L V8 DRW's, Altec Service body & Altec Bucket Crane, Hyrail, LT245/70R19.5 tires, Hydraulic oil tank, PTO, Work lights, strobe light & outside speaker. Body rusted, some compartment bottoms rusted through & there are scratches/dents on the body. Engine is good. Unit was towed in because the brakes need work, possibly a new master cylinder & there is a brake line leak. Brake Pedal goes all the way to the floor. We highly recommend it be towed or trailered out. It can be driven short distances, such as onto a trailer if the brake reservoir is full but you should bring extra brake fluid just in case. Unit retired per Metra's replacement policy.

However, any vehicle that must be downsized, by unbolting any attached equipment, to make it legal for transportation purposes will be allowed. Metra does not allow purchasers to make repairs on Metra property, with the exception of minor repairs needed to make the vehicle functional for removal from the premises. Although the vehicle was driven in to the turn in location we recommend that the vehicle be towed away due to the fact we don't know the current state of the vehicle since it has not been serviced. Metra will not be responsible should the buyer decide to drive the vehicle away and it breaks down during transit. It is the buyer's responsibility to arrange removal from Metra property.

Inspection

A Pre-Inspection Meeting will be made by appointment only. To view the vehicles, ALL ATTENDEES must have the following PPE (personal protective equipment): Hard hat, safety goggles / glasses, ORANGE safety vest, steel toe boots, and long pants, no shorts.

Removal

Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. We do not have personal at this location this is why appointments are required. If you show up without an appointment you will NOT receive your items. All items will be scheduled for removal by appointment only.

All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.

The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided.
