The box features a removable lid secured by four (4) latches. The lid also contains two holes on the top surface, which may have been used for mounting, ventilation, or cable access depending on the original application.

The main rectangular compartment extends upward from the base and may have been used for storage or as part of a larger equipment assembly.

The base of the unit is open and contains interior padding, suggesting that the box may have originally been mounted to or fitted over another component or piece of equipment.
