The Town of Banff is selling approximately 50 cubic yards of mulch.
The mulch has not been used and is no longer required by the Town.
Condition: Unused. Stored in bulk. Buyer is responsible for reviewing the photos and making their own assessment of the material, quantity, condition, and suitability for intended use.
Quantity: Approximately 50 cubic yards.
Inspection: Inspection may be available by appointment only. All inspection requests must be submitted through GovDeals and are subject to Town staff availability, site access, safety requirements, and operational needs. Unscheduled inspections may not be accommodated.
Pickup/Removal: Pickup is by appointment only. Pickup appointments are available Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding holidays and operational closures. Preferred pickup is Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday following auction close, subject to staff availability. If you are unable to pick up during these times, please do not bid.
The buyer is responsible for all loading, removal, transportation, permits, insurance, and related costs. The buyer must bring appropriate equipment, labour, containers/trailers, and transportation to safely remove the mulch. Due to the quantity and bulk nature of the material, the buyer should be prepared with suitable hauling capacity and loading/removal arrangements.
Loading assistance, if required, must be arranged in advance through the Town and is not guaranteed.
Buyers arriving without a confirmed appointment or suitable loading/removal arrangements may be refused release and required to reschedule. The Town is not responsible for costs incurred by the buyer due to arriving without an appointment or proper removal arrangements.
The successful buyer must sign the GovDeals Bill of Sale and any required release documentation before the mulch will be released. The Town will not release the material until payment has been confirmed, pickup has been scheduled, and documentation is complete.
All questions must be submitted through GovDeals. Material is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied.

Removal

The buyer is responsible for all aspects of pick-up / removal, including but not limited to packing, loading, transportation and exporting. Note: Shipping is NOT available.
Removal is by appointment only. All items must be picked-up / removed within 10 (ten) business days from auction closure, unless otherwise stated in the asset description. If any item(s) is not removed within the allotted timeframe, the item(s) may be declared abandoned.
At the time of pick-up / removal, you will be required to present the seller with a copy of your Buyer’s Certificate and/or bill of sale, and potentially other documentation (e.g., copy of driver's license, Authorization of Release, etc). When making a removal appointment, please confirm with the seller what is needed to release the item(s).
