Condition: Poor

This lot consists of one (1) set of nine (9) wooden shelves. The shelves have been marked as being in poor condition due to visible wear, surface damage, and missing edge banding on portions of the shelving units.

The shelves show signs of prior use consistent with heavy institutional, storage, or shelving system service. Condition varies from piece to piece, with each individual shelf potentially exhibiting different wear patterns, including scratches, scuffs, stains, and general surface wear.

All shelves have missing edge banding along one end. The edge banding consists of thin wood strips applied to conceal and protect the core material. Where edge banding is missing, the exposed substrate is visible. The shelves appear to be constructed primarily of particle board, and the exposed interior material supports this assessment.

The top and bottom surfaces of the shelves appear to be coated with a melamine-style laminate or similar protective finish, though the exact material composition has not been confirmed.
