The Braun Chief XL ambulance module was originally manufactured in 2007 and was professionally remounted onto the current Ford F-550 chassis in 2017. Prospective bidders should understand that the chassis is a 2017 model and the ambulance module is a remounted 2007 unit.
The modular body includes exterior storage compartments and an interior patient-care area with built-in cabinetry and storage. Any equipment shown in the photographs is included only if specifically identified in this listing. No loose medical equipment, medications, controlled substances, radios, or personal protective equipment should be assumed to be included.
This ambulance remained in service until May 2026. At the time of retirement, the vehicle was operational as a reserve unit and had the following known mechanical issues: Oil pan gasket leak.
The vehicle may have normal cosmetic wear consistent with its age and previous emergency-service use, including scratches, dents, paint imperfections, interior wear, and mounting holes from removed equipment.

Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the vehicle before bidding. The successful bidder is responsible for verifying the vehicle’s condition and arranging all loading, removal, permits, registration, and transportation.
The successful bidder must remove the vehicle within the timeframe established in the auction terms. Title transfer and vehicle removal will not occur until payment has been received and confirmed.
