1992 Mack MR688S TILT TANDEM, 12.0L L6 TURBO DIESEL ROLL OFF.


The vehicle was removed from service on 10-7-25 for fleet rotation when its new replacement arrived. All lights, signals, and functions are operational. The truck runs, drives and operates fine, it was used until its replacement arrived. It went through federal inspection and passed, it does have a current up to date inspection and smoke sticker. The tires are about 3 years old but are in good condition, ice cold a/c and hot heat. All vehicles are kept on a regular maintenance schedule and all fluids are checked weekly before usage.

The roll off portion of the truck is a american roll off 75,000 pound hoist, The outside hoist controls could use a few new lines, they should get replaced just due to their age. the rubber is starting to crack and you can see the steel braiding behind it. The lines for crane arm behind the cab are currently capped off, we did not use the crane often so instead of being under pressure every time the roll off was picking up a can. We just capped the lines to preserve the seals and lines with that part of the unit. If you wish to use the crane all you have to do is remove the caps and screw the lines back into the valve body.
