Most items offered for sale are used and may contain defects not immediately detectable nor depicted in photographs. Bidders are encouraged to inspect the property prior to bidding, especially vehicles or heavy equipment. Inspection is by appointment only. Please use the 'Ask a Question' feature to schedule an appointment for Inspection. It is important for the bidder or the bidder's authorized removal agent to carefully examine the item purchased to determine if there are unexpected issues prior to removing same. Once an item is removed from the location no refund of any kind will be considered. Transportation costs of the bidder will never be paid or reimbursed under any circumstances.

Pickup will not occur until payment has been made. Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. No property will be removed unless an appointment is made. Please, do not cause a representative to commence travel to pick up unless an appointment has already been scheduled. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of the close of the auction.

The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided unless stated or arrangements have been made in writing. Bidders will be locked unless a prior arrangement has been made for any item not removed within the ten (10) business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate. Paid funds will not be returned due to the inability of a bidder to pick up a purchased item.

Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale 'AS IS, WHERE IS.' LPS Municipal Surplus Property Program, LA makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.

Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
