Unit removed from service in 10/2024 due to no longer being necessary. This genset does have a total of 895.7 hours on it. The hour meter gauge was replaced at 657 hours. This unit was a redundant system to our main plant generator. The unit was exercised underload monthly until 10/2024 with all maintenance done per Caterpillar standards. When the unit was removed from service, there were not any issues with it. The genset operated as designed. The unit has since had the coolant and engine oil drained. The fuel tank and lines have been removed and are not included in the sale. The batteries have been removed and are not included in the sale. The unit has been completely disconnected from the utility grid. The buyer will be responsible for the removal of both transfer switches, generator exhaust system, and generator with radiator. There is an overhead crane available to assist in getting the unit out of the building. The buyer will be responsible for all deconstruction of the unit in preparation for moving the unit. The buyer is responsible for all rigging and RWSA will assist by operating the overhead crane. The buyer will be responsible for providing all equipment and personnel necessary to deconstruct, remove, load, and transport items included in the sale. RWSA will not be liable for any damage done to the unit while assisting with moving it. The buyer will be responsible for all damage done to RWSA property while removing and loading the unit for transport. Videos of the unit running as well as both transfer switches operating are available upon request. This unit is being sold “as-is” and does not have any warranty expressed or implied.
