Simplex 562-976 Mapnet II Transceiver Board.

Selling due to upgrade of different system.
Used to provide communication between a Simplex 4100 Series fire alarm control panel and addressable devices. It manages the signaling line circuit (SLC), enabling the monitoring and control of up to 127 MAPNET devices.
Key Specifications & Features:
- Compatibility: Designed specifically for the Simplex 4100 and 4120 Series systems.
- Capacity: Supports up to 127 addressable devices per channel.
- Wiring: Supports both Class A (Style 6) and Class B (Style 4) wiring configurations.
- Power Output: Provides isolated +36 VDC (up to 500 mA) for the MAPNET channel.
- Short Circuit Protection: Features built-in testing that restricts power if a short is detected on power-up or shuts down the channel for 750ms if a short occurs after power-up.
- Physical: Approximately 12" x 6" x 4" and weighs about 1.5 lbs.
- Configuration: Uses an 8-position DIP switch (SW1) to set the board's address and baud rate for communication with the CPU.
