Ladder 1 is a 1993 Seagrave Aerial Platform LP-02-DH RAP-105 bearing serial #87001. The Henderson Fire Department purchased this aerial truck in September of 2017. It has a 105 ft aerial device with a platform. Ladder 1 currently has 14,114 miles/5,400 hours and was refurbished in 2007. The original Detroit Diesel was replaced with a Caterpillar C13 Acert Diesel Engine in 2007. It has a Allison AT-740 Automatic Transmission. Ladder 1 has a 6-man cab with 3 SCBA seats. It has pull chain air horns and a hook up that a mechanical siren can be attached to. Ladder 1 has an onboard diesel generator as well as scene lighting. Most of the emergency lighting has been upgraded to LED to assist with visibility. The 105-foot aerial platform device has 2 sections and the bed. There is also a place for either a combination or smooth bore nozzle at the tip of the basket, with electronic controls that can be controlled from the pedestal. Ladder 1 is also a distinct dark green, a rarity in today’s time. It has plenty of compartment storage for all means of truck tools. The batteries were recently replaced, and the truck runs and does not have any issues driving. This truck will fit in a 12-foot-tall garage door. Note: Ground Ladders are not being sold with the truck. This truck does not have a Fire Pump.
The truck was last certified in February of 2024 but there are current issues with the truck hydraulics. With it being over 30 years old, wear and tear on the hydraulic system over time has created many leaks. Several hydraulic cylinders and lines have been rebuilt or replaced but more issues remain. Whenever the PTO is activated and the system is put in use, hydraulic fluid leaks from the outriggers in multiple spots. In 2024, a hydraulic line busted on the bed of the ladder while the ladder was undergoing testing for the aerial recertification, however that issue was repaired. An entire rebuild of the outriggers was recommended, however this work was not completed. In addition to the outriggers needing repair, the aerial platform is unable to stay level without being manually leveled from the control pedestal. This system was also suggested to be completely rebuilt/replaced, however this work was not completed. The Henderson Fire Department has many records on this truck that can be reviewed by interested parties. Removal


ONCE THE ITEM HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE SELLER’S LOCATION; ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate.
A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
