Vintage TEREX Wheel Loader with Forks
Currently in use.
Capacity 10,000 lbs.
Used at research facility for several decades, very low hours in that time.
Vintage Terex Rough Terrain Forklift, which was originally custom-configured for military materials handling. Unlike standard industrial forklifts, this heavy-duty, four-wheel-drive machine is built on a wheel-loader chassis framework. This design allows it to navigate rugged, uneven ground while moving heavy tactical cargo and palletized military supplies.

Transmission is Forward-Reverse 3 speed, but 3rd gear has not worked since we have had it.
Brakes take time to build pressure.

Yes, it is the Forward-Reverse with 3 speed, although the 3rd gear has never worked. The brakes are suspect and building the pressure takes time. 08/31/2026 16:01:44 PM

The forks have been used recently to lift a 20-ft loaded container and an almost-empty 40-ft container. Both were lifted, but not transported. The capacity of 10,000 lbs and the short wheelbase made lifting each container tricky. 09/08/2026 13:11:55 PM
