Description

2007 Inekon 100 Series Streetcar

This is a modern, low-floor light rail vehicle designed for urban transit operations. In working/ operational condition was taken out of service in March 2026. It is being sold as-is, where-is.

Operational and Technical Information:

Each streetcar operates on 750V DC overhead power system and is equipped with roof-mounted pantograph. Manufacturer guidance suggests an operating speed of approximately 25 mph.

Buyer responsible for transportation (DDOT will assist in loading the streetcar till June 30)
Sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied

    We just posted 2 more for a total of 3 online now. All information known about the units is on each auction page. Payment

PAYMENT

If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.

Note:

1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.

2. Any invoice $5,000 or above requires payment via wire transfer.

SALES TAX

When applicable, sales tax is calculated based upon the auction’s advertised location.

Removal

Pick up is BY APPOINTMENT ONLY weekdays between 8:30am to 2pm. We ask that you pick up within 10 days of auction close.

Bidder is responsible for transportation. DDOT will assist in loading the streetcar. Please call ahead for arrangements. No shipping available. If you need shipping, please contact a local pack and ship company. We cannot recommend any specific companies.

If sending a family member, friend, or other representative to pick up for you, that person MUST bring the following:

1: copy of buyer's driver license

2: signed note (or emailed note) from buyer giving permission to pick up

3: buyer certificate (sent to buyer when auction closes).

Buyer may also email us the above documents. Send to surplus-property@dc.gov. All items are sold as is where is with no guarantees or warranties. All sales are final once items leave our facility.
