Removal

PICK-UP: The equipment can be picked up at the Troy Department Of Public Works Facility, 4693 Rochester Road, Troy, MI 48085 Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm by appointment only. – Report to the Fleet Division.
Winning bidder must show proof of payment and a valid drivers license matching the account holders name. vehicles will be titled to the name on the account. If winning bidder sends an agent to pick up the equipment and/or items, in addition to receipt of payment in full and a copy of the winning bidders drivers license the agent must have the following documentation prior to the release of the equipment and/or items:

1. A valid driver’s license in his/her name.

2. An original NOTARIZED appointment of agent statement from the bidder appointing the individual as his/her agent and authorizing the agent to sign the Certificate of Title as Purchaser and agent of the bidder.
An appointment of agent form will be emailed upon request. All equipment is to be removed at the risk and expense of the purchaser. The equipment must be removed without City staff participation.
TIME LIMIT: If equipment and/or items are not picked up within 10 working days after the auction expiration date and time, the City of Troy reserves the right to retain the equipment and re-list the equipment for auction.

Troy, MI makes no warranty, guarantee or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.

Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
