The town makes no guarantee that any of them are in working condition.
The winning bidder will be expected to take all of them for scrap or spare parts.

You must have an appointment if you want to inspect an item/vehicle, and all inspections must be between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM - No exceptions! Use the Q & A "Ask your Question" button to schedule an inspection. After your appointment is confirmed, our address is the Town of Herndon Public Works Facility at 1479 Sterling Road. PAYMENT
If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.Note:
1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.
2. Any invoice $5,000 or above requires payment via wire transfer.

Removal
YOU MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO PICKUP A VEHICLE!! FAILURE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT MAY BE CAUSE FOR YOU NOT TO BE ABLE TO REMOVE YOUR VEHICLE WHEN YOU ARRIVE. YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER 2PM TO REMOVE A VEHICLE OR ASSETS. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BIDDING OR REMOVING YOUR WINNING BID. IF YOU ARE SENDING A CAR HAULER, YOU MUST HAVE PAPERWORK COMPLETED 1ST, OR YOU MAY BE TURNED AWAY.
If you plan to have a third party complete removal of this item/lot, you must complete and sign the Authorization of Release document found on this link. The signed copy must be sent in prior to any removal arrangements being made.
To ensure a smooth seller/buyer transfer of assets, we ask that in addition to the signed Authorization of Release document, you return a signed bill of sale and a photocopy of a government issued identification to bill.smith@herndon-va.gov
