THE BELOW DESCRIBED MOTOR VEHICLES WHICH CAME INTO THE POSSESSION OF THE HOBOKEN PARKING UTILITY OF THE CITY OF HOBOKEN NEW JERSEY THROUGH THE ABANDONMENT AND/OR FAILURE OF OWNERS TO CLAIM SAME.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE: ALL VEHICLES ARE IN USED CONDITION, MAY OR MAY NOT BE OPERABLE, PARTS MAY BE MISSING, AND REPAIRS MAY BE REQUIRED. ALSO, DEFECTS OTHER THAN THOSE EXPOSED TO VIEW MAY EXIST.

PROPERTY IS OFFERED "AS IS" WITH NO REFUNDS. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER OF SUCH VEHICLES MUST RETURN THE LICENSE PLATES TO THE MAIN OFFICE BEFORE REMOVING THE VEHICLES FROM THE HPU IMPOUND.

FOR VEHICLES THAT ARE NON-DRIVABLE, A LICENSED TOW TRUCK IS REQUIRED TO REMOVE THE VEHICLE FROM THE TOW YARD WHERE THE VEHICLE IS STORED. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.


ALL AUCTION PURCHASES WILL BE DONE ONLINE. ALL PAPERWORK CAN BE PICKED UP BY VISITING THE HPU OFFICE (APPOINTMENTS REQUIRED AT: WWW.HOBOKENNJ.GOV/RESOURCES/HPUAPPOINTMENTS). ALL TITLE INFORMATION WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE HPU OFFICE.

PAYMENT

If you are the winning bidder, you will facilitate payment by referring to the My Bids section of your account.

Note:

1. Payment is due within 5 (five) business days of auction closure.

2. Any invoice $5,000 or above requires payment via wire transfer.

SALES TAX

Removal

Removal is by Appointment Only and all items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Successful bidders are responsible for all loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them. No Assistance will be provided.

NOTICE: If you are the winning bidder and default by failing to adhere to this sellers terms and conditions your account with Liquidity Services WILL BE LOCKED.
Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale “AS IS, WHERE IS.”Hoboken, NJ (Seller) makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.
Description Warranty. Seller warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the seller shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
