Pump is not certified due to annual pump test.
Transfer case disengaged from pump is the reason the vehicle was taken out of service. Truck was leaking Coolant when it was started recently. Truck will need to be towed from location. Sold As Is!!!

The pump has some sort of issue not allowing it to consistently engage the pump to be able to pump the truck correctly, repairs will be needed.We would recommend interested bidders to do their due diligence and inspect the vehicle prior to bidding, purchasing, and/or removing.

  • How long has it been sitting? In one reply you stated that it cranked and ran in another you said it needed to be towed.     It has been out of service for almost 2 years but it does crank and drives, but it is also important to inspect the vehicle for yourself due to it sitting for that long period of time. Thats the reason I stated that towing maybe required. 03/19/2024 08:48:56 AM

Payment

Payment in full is due not later than 5 business days from the time and date of the Buyer’s Certificate. Acceptable forms of payment are: U. S. Currency, Certified Cashiers Check, Money Order, and Company Check (with Bank Letter guaranteeing funds – mandatory), Checks shall be made payable to: City of Waycross. Payments shall be made at the City Hall 417 Pendleton Street Waycross, Ga 31501.Second floor Purchasing department.

Removal

Removal: All items must be removed within 10 business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate. Purchases will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified. Buyer is responsible for paying the 7.00% sales tax over the final sell price. Successful bidders are responsible for loading and removal and any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading, and transportation of the property. Under no circumstances will City of Waycross assume responsibility for packing, loading or shipping. Property may be removed between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays. A daily storage fee of $10.00 will be charged for any items not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.

Special Instructions

The City of Waycross does not collect sales tax on vehicles sold on GovDeals. If you are a Georgia resident it is the buyer's responsibility to pay the ad valorem tax in the county in which you reside,when applying for title. The ad valorem tax is based on the fair market value of the vehicle and not the purchase price. If you are an out of state buyer and are tax exempt,you must supply the City of Waycross with an ST8 form prior to receiving your title from us. If you are not tax exempt you will be required to pay the sales taxes in the state where you reside.
