This apparatus was maintained as a fully functioning reserve unit through its retirement from departmental service in 2025.
The apparatus is being sold as surplus equipment. The exterior paint displays wear consistent with the vehicle’s age and fire-service use. Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the apparatus before bidding and independently verify its condition, specifications, measurements, and suitability for their intended use.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, no equipment, hose, appliances, radios, tools, loose equipment, or other accessories shown in photographs are included in the sale.
The vehicle is being sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Whitewater Township makes no representation regarding the apparatus’s ability to meet current NFPA standards, pump-certification requirements, Department of Transportation requirements, emissions regulations, or the operational requirements of another fire department or jurisdiction.
The successful bidder is responsible for all loading, transportation, permits, insurance, taxes, title and registration requirements, and associated costs. The buyer must make arrangements with the designated Township representative before removing the apparatus. No assistance with transportation or delivery will be provided.
Bidders should not assume the apparatus can be driven from the property without first completing their own inspection and determining that it is safe and legally permissible to operate.

Removal
The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer’s Certificate.
